- RUP (Rational Unified Process) which has the following obvious advantages: fixed time and cost, iterative development process, early risk identification and elimination, focus on customer’s requirements, willingness to adapt to requirement change, modular architecture
- SCRUM which is aimed primarily at the quality control of the development process; client can make changes to the requirements at almost any stage but the final cost of the project is not fixed
