Company QATestlab trainings on Software testing to be held on 29th of October and 5th of November in Cherkassy State Technological University.

The main aim of the trainings is to provide all the interested students with basic concepts of software development process, objectives and strategies of testing process in software development methodology, and working models of tester toolkit usage.

  After trainings students will undergo the testing, those who will successfully complete their tests will get the certificates.

The training objectives:

  •     to show the peculiarities of quite new profession  Software Tester
  •       to acquire both theoretical knowledge and some practical experience of work with different projects, solving of real problems that tester usually face;
  •       to learn how to apply different methodologies for software testing;
  •       to learn how to describe  software bugs and write test-cases;
  •       to learn how to use manual and automation testing in real projects;
  •       to learn how to analyze and reasonably use your own time while work process;

Subject 3. Tests development and test-cases structure. Features of well developed test. Regression testing.
Subject 4. Automation and stress testing. Software usage for software testing.

Subject 2.

Bugs. Bugs description and analysis. Bugs life cycle.

  1. Bug definition. Reasons of bug appearance. 
  2. What is quality. Disclosing of 100% software testing conception.
  3. Bug types. Bug attributes.
  4. Bugs description and work with bug tracking system.
  5. Bug life cycle.

Subject 3.

Tests development and test-cases structure. Features of well developed test. Regression testing.

  1. Test cases structure and specification.
  2. Results of test cases performance. Results analysis.
  3. Regression testing.
  4. Verification of fixed bugs.

Subject 4

. Automation and stress testing. Software usage for software testing.

  1. Automation testing using Watir, Selenium, Rational Robot.
  2. Stress testing using Wapt, AB.exe, LoadRunner.
  3. Software usage for software testing: applications for memory leak detection, bugs tracking, and web-testing applications.
