ELEKS Software Engineering Camp for Technology Students Celebrates First Graduation
The first group completes ELEKS’ multidisciplinary education program on software development with 60 percent of graduates being subsequently employed by the company.
ELEKS, a trusted global organization that provides offshore, full-cycle software product engineering services, announced the first graduating class from its Software Engineering Camp, which was launched by ELEKS’ corporate university in March 2016.
The company created this initiative to expand the educational opportunities for talented technology students. This targeted course meets the employer’s growing demand for highly competent young professionals.
The students were given an opportunity to learn modern software development methods and processes, improve their communication skills, as well as gain the practical experience necessary to start a career in IT.
Out of more than 1,700 applicants, 90 students were enrolled in the camp, with three groups concurrently studying at the company’ offices in Lviv, Ivano-Frankivsk and Ternopil.
A number of the company’s top experts were engaged into the camp as trainers. They also designed the program that provided solid understanding of SDLC processes, development best practices and code quality principles.
Moreover, the students had an opportunity to practice their new skills on real projects. Altogether, the Software Engineering Camp awarded graduation diplomas to 80 students, and almost 60 percent of them immediately joined the ELEKS staff.

ELEKS University continues to expand its range of educational programs with regard to modern technology trends and business needs. Currently, it runs a QA Academy in Ternopil and a DevOps Camp in Lviv.
Considering the substantial demand for multidisciplinary education as well as the company’s growing customer base, ELEKS University plans to launch its second Software Engineering Camp in September.
