EngagePoint™ Releases Content 3.3

Comprehensive Content Management Solution that allows users to access content wherever it resides within the enterprise.

EngagePoint announced the release of EngagePoint Content 3.3, a software solution that allows users to access content wherever it resides within the enterprise. Content provides a single interface for content search, retrieval and storage of document content across the enterprise.

Its federated model means that customers benefit from a unified, standards-based, virtual repository, no matter how many physical content repositories within their enterprise.

“Today, HHS enterprises are responsible for maintaining multiple repositories of document content to support their operations,”
said EngagePoint EVP of Sales, Marketing & Solutions Sumant Anand.

“Both staff and citizens may be required to go through multiple channels to access documents in this environment. As a result, time and money is lost when no mechanism exists to consolidate access to a State’s multiple document repositories.

EngagePoint Content addresses these issues by providing a single point of access and control for managing documents in its internal data store as well as across enterprise Electronic Data Management Systems (EDMS) systems that are integrated (federated) with it.”

This release includes following features:

  • Provide Master Document Index (MDI) Management – the MDI feature allows to aggregate the indexes (catalogs) of document content from the various EDMS platforms that are connected to the product, as well as from internal document repositories;
  • Provide Master Structure Model (MSM) – the MSM feature allows to import the document repository storage structure (for example, the folder hierarchy of content stored in SharePoint);
  • Provide Incremental Content Move (ICM) – the ICM feature provides ability to move documents from one repository to another, based on a preconfigured set of business rules;
  • Provide Batch Content Move (BCM) – The BCM feature provides EngagePoint Content with the ability to move documents from one repository to another, based on a user-defined set off search criteria.
