ELEKS Bolsters Its Software Product Engineering Services by Expanding Data Science Expertise

The global provider of software product engineering places great emphasis on the development of Data Science expertise within the Software Product Engineering Services by establishing a Data Science competency office.

ELEKS, a trusted global organization that provides offshore, full-cycle software product engineering services, in response to the strong demand, enhances the company’s key service offering through the active development of Data Science competency within the organization.

To support the initiative, in June 2016, the company established the Data Science Office (DSO), which will work alongside Software Engineering and Development, Business Analysis, Project Management and other competency centers.

The newly created Data Science Office will drive the development and expansion of ELEKS’ Data Science expertise. It will help establish the company’s leadership in the domains of data engineering, data analytics and modeling, data visualization and data research.

Sergii Shelpuk, a seasoned computer science expert, has been appointed Head of Data Science Office. His primary objective in this position is to assure the seamless involvement of Data Science professionals in the development of ELEKS’ products and services.

The company’s data science experts join software product engineering teams to build data-centric technological products. These software products are aimed at helping ELEKS’ customers make better business decisions and gain a competitive advantage by leveraging the growing volume, variety and velocity of data.
