“CONNECT”, Forum on Information and Communication Technology Services

9-10th of June in Bucharest

, Romania, the UNDP Black Sea Trade and Investment Programme (BSTIP) is organizing The First Black Sea Partnership Forum on Information and Communication Technology Services “CONNECT” in co-operation with the Association for Information Technology and Communication of Romania.

The Forum is expected to attract participation of 100 private companies active in the ICT sector from the 12 countries covered by our BSTIP Programme (Albania, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Bulgaria, Georgia, Greece, Moldova, Romania, Russia, Serbia, Turkey and Ukraine).

Registered companies will benefit from a series of one-to-one meetings arranged on the basis of a prior screening of the company profiles submitted by participants. The individual meetings will provide a unique opportunity to find new clients and a platform for discussing business opportunities as well as other options such as joint-ventures, transfer of know-how and networking arrangements.

Additionally, the UNDP BSTIP will provide:

• A free of charge participation for Ukrainian Delegation;

• Publicity to the companies and organisations by inclusion in the Forum’s catalogue and the BSTIP web site;

• Special hotel rates for participants. List is indicated in the Logistical Note;

• Study tour to 2 Romanian IT companies;

• Assistance to all the participants with visa issuance upon request;

BSTIP (www.undpforblacksea.org) is a unique initiative jointly co-financed by the Hellenic Republic, the Republic of Turkey, the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and the BSEC (Black Sea Economic Cooperation Organization). The main objective of the programme is to promote the regional economic integration process among the BSEC Member States.
