Come. Get. Join. AltexSoft Lab Event Prepares Georgian Talent for IT Path
AtexSoft, a Travel & Hospitality Technology Consulting company, held a Come.Get.Join. AltexSoft lab event on June 11 in Tbilisi to meet with the area’s young engineering talent, share their internship experience, and prepare them for an IT career path.
The event was a follow-on of the April 7 meetup, but this time AltexSoft Lab alumni, people partners, and engineers focused on Lab opportunities, employment challenges in IT, and career growth. Besides engaging tech talents, the goal of the meetup was to gather like-minded people in Georgia to build a community that shares knowledge and networks.
Natalia Parkhomenko, the people partner at AltexSoft, introduced the Lab initiative and explained AltexSoft’s employment perspectives. David Gabedava, a Node.js developer, shared his experience of becoming a software engineer after abandoning a previous career. Mariia Dusyn, the talent acquisition specialist, gave advice on landing a job at a software company. And Mariia Bondarenko, QA competency expert, provided insight about a career in quality assurance.
