Unicorn Systems Provides ALBI with a Mobile App for its Order Processing

A Unicorn Systems mobile app helps ALBI sales representatives efficiently sell their products anywhere at any time. The application has been implemented by the iCom Vision mobile app development team, a part of Unicorn Systems.

With the mobile tablet solution, sales representatives may comfortably make out orders and monitor delivery of goods to their customers.

Tablets provide sales representatives with easy access to product information and important client data, such as order history, invoicing, and details of payment discipline.

The solution consists of a Google Android tablet application and a backend server platform built on the Microsoft SQL database and .NET environment. It provides communication and full data synchronisation between mobile devices in the field and the enterprise system of ALBI.

Capable of off-line work, the mobile app functions reliably even in areas with poor (mobile data) signal coverage. Currently, this Unicorn Systems solution is used by ALBI sales representatives in the Czech Republic and Slovakia and beginning with the next year, it will be used in Poland as well.

“We used another mobile app in the past, but it failed to meet our requirements. So we have decided to look for a new solution to replace our paper catalogues and allow us to become fully digital. No application which would fully meet our User Experience requirements was available in the market, so we have decided to develop one in collaboration with Unicorn Systems.
