Coverage: Testing Dojo in Mykolaiv
On April 26, an event of Testing Dojo contest series was held in Mykolaiv and gathered experts in software testing.
Sixteen professional software testers, divided into teams of two, participated in the contest.
Their task was to perform the most thorough testing of a software product within a limited timespan. As for the object of testing, it was the newly developed IT Club Mykolaiv’s website.
Thus, the contestants helped the favourite club of Mykolaiv tech folks, along with gaining new knowledge and experience.
The contest included three rounds. The participants worked hard, while the audience supported them. Denis Zhevner, GlobalLogic consultant, and Viktor Gozhyi, independent testing expert, moderated the contest and ensured observance of rules.
At the end of Dojo the winners were chosen. Two equally effective teams were selected by voting and ranked first and second. All the participants received Testing Dojo diplomas, while the winners were also treated to nice surprises.
Testing Dojo attracted freelancers as well as experts from the majority of the largest companies in Mykolaiv. Feedback provided by the participants and the spectators proves that the event was definitely successful, so now the hosts plan the new Dojo event!
