TEAM International Sponsored 48Hackathon at Kharkiv Karazin University
48hackathon was held on June 28-30 for students of the Computer Science Faculty of Kharkiv Karazin University.
It is a students competition for teams of 2-4 people, that assumes continuous development within 48 hours. Teams come up with their own project within the stated topic.
Jury evaluates the idea and the quality of the prototype developed by the team. Teams design a project, create a prototype and present it to the jury.
Stack of technologies: development for mobile devices, geolocation, accelerometer, camera, image recognition.
The final table of winners:
- I place “LIFO”: Natalia Martynenko, Oleksandra Rohachova, Kateryna Khotkevych, Dmitry Yatsina;
- II place “Stepan.CPP”: Alexeev Albert, Sirotinin Sergey, Sukhanov Ruslan, Tereshchenko Artem;
- III place “WhyNot”: Aksenchyk Svyatoslav, Maxim Gurov, Fabian Sergey, Chistyakov Alexander.
The winning project, inkHunter, allows to make a real-time impression of a designed tattoo. The guys showed a great level of development of their ideas.
Not only they came up with a working prototype, but also with a great presentation, application distribution channels planned, and even conducted interviews with several potential users. This excellent project received prize from Team International – a month in a coworking for the whole team, which is a great chance to develop the project.
