Stanfy helds the SFME Meetup “How to Grow your Business with Wearable Technology: SmartWatch Apps”
It’s been quite a while since we’ve met the last time, and now we are happy to schedule the next meeting of the SF Mobile Entrepreneurs community!
Our seventh meetup will be dedicated to the hot topic of wearable technology (and 2015 is said to be the year of wearables!).
As more and more smartwatches enter the market, we want to know what new opportunities they bring to startups and businesses.
We have two awesome speakers lined up!
- Sridhar Solur, founder of HP’s Wearables and Cloud/Mobile Printing
Sridhar will give an overview of the wearables and smartwatches market, what’s happening now in the field, and what could happen in the future. He recently worked on the MB Chronowing watch and can share his insight on what it takes to create a wearable.
- JP Gil, Designer at Google Android Wear
JP will talk about smartwatches specs and tricks and the new opportunities they unleash, as well as give recommendations for startups who are looking into developing a wearable app.
Agenda:
- 6:00 pm – Networking, Food & Drinks
- 7:00 pm – Presentations begin. Every speech will be followed by interactive audience Q&A
- 8:30 pm – Wrap-Up & Post-Networking
When and where is the meetup?
- Date: Tuesday, May 26th 2015
- Time: 6PM – 9PM
- Location: Office of Life360, 539 Bryant Street, suite 402
Who can join?
Everyone interested in wearables technology is warmly invited to join the meetup! The topic will be especially interesting for startups and mobile entrepreneurs, product people, business development executives and marketing specialists, app developers, and investors.
