GlobalLogic reported on the Kharkiv JavaScript User Group Meetup #2

On November 28 there was the first snow and the second meeting of Kharkiv JavaScript User Group.

Once again there was a full house thanks to our great attendees.

There were also interesting and useful presentations by our speakers – Rostyslav Siryk, Kostiantyn Tsaregradskyi and Denys Kniazhev.

We held this event in a cozy Spalah co-working space.

Be sure to check out the presentations!

1) Rostyslav Siryk (Lead Designer, GlobalLogic)

«The simplest HTML5 app»

How to create your own handy player for your favourite online radio and learn basics of HTML, JS and CSS in the course of its development?

We make a player for a few channels with “Favourites”, which is able to save titles of loved tracks. We also find out how to avoid a problem of missing metadata in audio elements’ properties while still being able to get and display metadata of tracks.
