Intellias is now a part of Lviv IT Cluster
In a close cooperation with universities and local authorities, the organization aims to implement educational initiatives, support various social IT projects and promote favorable image of Lviv both as an outstanding IT hub and a city with a highly favorable business climate, hence improving its competitiveness on a global IT arena.
With 15,000 IT specialists and annual IT industry growth at 20%, Lviv is considered country’s top IT hub and has all the prerequisites for further highly dynamic growth.
Uniting 6100 IT experts and 34 companies, Lviv IT cluster has a significant human capital and an exceptional intellectual potential in place to carry out a number of important initiatives to positively affect the IT landscape of the city.
It is worth mentioning that the projects of the organization have a major impact on socially important spheres: education, infrastructure, legal, city marketing & promotion.
The biggest promotional Cluster projects include Lviv IT Arena, an annual conference, covering the most promising areas of IT industry with 1,400+ attendees and Lviv IT Tour – travelling IT conferences, which aim to foster knowledge and experience exchange between IT professionals based in different cities of Ukraine.
With 2,500 IT graduates and 17 institutions with technical majors, Lviv is a perfect candidate for Cluster’s educational initiatives: IT Expert and IT Future. The first of them is designed to bring advancements to the education programs in Lviv universities.
The experts from leading IT companies assist the university professors in equipping the students with the most demanded skills, according to the needs of a quickly evolving IT market. IT Future is another educational project of Lviv IT Cluster, which has an ambition to introduce Lviv schoolchildren to the world of IT.
The representatives of Lviv IT cluster conduct regular visits to the schools to talk about main aspects of their profession and everyday activities, stimulating students’ interest in IT.
Other worthwhile initiatives include IT Research – a large-scale and one-of-a-kind research of the city’s IT market; Lviv CSIT – IT competition among schools; IT House – a urban development project for employees of IT industry and IT Club – an exclusive discount program that covers a wide range of products and services.
Since Intellias actively and continuously participates in the life of a local IT community as well as contributes to a number of educational initiatives, becoming a part of Lviv IT cluster was a decision that was very much in line with company’s strategic vision.
