EngagePoint™, a software and services provider focused on accelerating the government’s transition to a modern IT enterprise, announced that its CEO Pradeep Goel will appear as a featured panelist at the 2014 State Healthcare IT Connect Summit in Baltimore, Md. April 1-2.
Leading an executive panel, Goel will discuss the integration and data challenges of implementing healthcare insurance exchanges and some of the lessons learned since the Affordable Care Act debuted last year.
“For every CIO or IT professional in a state healthcare agency, this session is a must-attend if you wish to gain insight on how to successfully implement ACA, avoid the pitfalls and benefit from the lessons learned from other states and vendors,”
said Goel.
“As a systems integrator in a several states, EngagePoint is poised to share many of the successes and misses of the ACA implementations we have been involved with as well as the next round of systems and program modernization projects.”
In partnership with the National Association of State CIOs, the 2014 State Healthcare IT Connect Summit was designed to bring together public and private sector thought leaders to share ideas and benchmark implementation strategies of state health IT systems as they move forward with diverse health reform agendas.
Attendees had the opportunity to learn from, network and collaborate with nationally recognized healthcare IT strategists who are implementing state systems to support the changing healthcare landscape.
As a platinum sponsor of the Summit, EngagePoint will also moderate a second session on optimizing data integration with qualified health plans and legacy data systems. Led by Todd Schrubb, vice president of business development, this session will offer insightful and thought-provoking content that healthcare organizations can use to consider enrollment solutions, which provide better access to healthcare, yield better outcomes and are fiscally responsible.
