The Cybersecurity Olympiad HackIT-2015
The Cybersecurity Olympiad “HackIT-2015″ is first of all aimed at those who like to find something hidden, can hide well, solve logical tasks, undo knots, are inventive, have open-source intelligence skills and can think out of the box. Nobody knows, which of these skills will be critical by finding the desired key. That is why everything you need is not to be afraid to make an attempt.
Game for Everybody
Every person aged between 16 and 33 years, irrespective of his education, job, and profession can take part in the Olympiad. The participation is free and individual. You have to be present personally, distant participation is not allowed.
Participation terms
Candidates from all over Ukraine can apply. You have to register on the website. Then you will receive a test task and we select TOP-100 for the offline round. The detailed information about the skills, knowledge and software needed you will get here.
The CTF Game Format
CTF is a competition, which aims to estimate the players’ abilities to attack and defend computer systems. For this CTF You need: 1. Skills of work with VPN. 2. Practical skills of cryptography and cryptanalysis. 3. Skills of web applications security analysis (OWASP Top-10).
Awards
In order to distinguish and encourage both professionals and growing talents, the participants will be divided into 3 categories. There will be 3 winners in every category. The participants have also a chance to win a special nomination, introduced by the sponsors.
