Unicorn Systems Will Supply a B2B E-commerce Solution on the SAP Platform for the Company Mitas
Unicorn Systems has won the tender for the installation of an international B2B e-commerce solution based on the SAP hybris platform to the Czech company Mitas. Mitas is a leading European manufacturer of agricultural, industrial and motorcycle tyres. Mitas specializes in off-road tyres, which manufactures and sells worldwide.
The company’s current e-commerce system will be replaced by a modern, pre-configured business solution for B2B e-commerce based on the SAP hybris platform. With this new system, Mitas will be able to effectively carry out B2B sales in more than 14 countries around the world (including the USA, Canada, the UK, France, Germany, Spain, the Czech Republic, the Netherlands and others).
The solution will support sales not only through a traditional e-shop but also through a module for use with mobile devices, which will respond to the current trend of enormous growth in the use of mobile devices going on worldwide.
The key benefit from the introduction of the SAP hybris platform is expected to be increased competitiveness on world markets through the use of an authenticated solution. At the same time that Mitas receives an excellent and advanced tool allowing it to manage all of its required markets on a single platform, it is also getting a tool that is ready for use in other communication channels such as B2C and a tool to support printed catalogs.
