Christmas Virtual Reality Game by ELEKS Selected Mobile Site of the Day by FWA
Another virtual reality project, a web-based holiday game developed by ELEKS was named Mobile Site of the Day (MOTD) by one of the most influential and reputable internet award programs, the Favourite Website Awards.
ELEKS’ recent digital project, a multi-device WebGL virtual reality game, was recognized as the Mobile Site of the Day on January 30, 2016 by the Favorite Website Awards (FWA) program.
Back2Pack was developed as the company’s interactive greeting for the holiday season. The game is a mix of enticing gameplay with an ingenious technical solution, using a smartphone and with Google Cardboard serving as its screen, and a second smartphone used as the game controller.
FWA recognizes outstanding digital work with the aim of giving maximum exposure to the most future-thinking, progressively-designed sites that have implemented cutting-edge technology, together with inspirational ideas. FWA’s evaluation criteria include creativity, originality, design, content and personality.

Favorite Website Awards (FWA) is a world-renowned Internet award program established in May of 2000. Their mission is to showcase cutting edge creativity, regardless of the medium or technology used: websites, online games, mobile sites and applications, online movies and many more.
Any submission can become Site of the Day or Mobile of the Day and later be selected Site of the Month or even Site of the Year.
This is ELEKS’ third award from the FWA. Previously, the company’s Google Glass Experiment, which demonstrated the use of Google Glass in sports, was selected Site of the Day, and its 3D car interior preview website was listed among the winners of the Mobile Site of the Day category.
