Unicorn Systems Acquires CYGNI SOFTWARE, Expanding Its Portfolio of Products and Services for the Energy Industry
Unicorn Systems, a highly regarded European provider of large information systems and ICT solutions announces that it has acquired 100% of CYGNI SOFTWARE, an IT company specializing in trading software solutions for the energy industry.
Through this acquisition, Unicorn Systems will be able to significantly strengthen its position on the market by expanding its product portfolio with solutions for trading and billing in the electricity and gas wholesale and retail markets, for consumption forecasting, for forecasting power generation from renewable resources, for pricing and purchasing optimisation, for market modelling and for other areas of energy business.
With its acquisition of CYGNI SOFTWARE, Unicorn Systems is also able to further expand its team of experienced energy industry specialists and professionals. The CYGNI SOFTWARE team will formally become a part of Unicorn Systems as of 1 April 2014 where they will be continuing to provide their high-quality professional services to both new and existing clients.
