Intellias successfully exhibits at Lviv’s top IT events
The recent months have marked the positive dynamics and further consolidation of Lviv IT community, signified by numerous IT events this autumn, including Lviv JS Conference, career4it employment fair and JDay 2014, attended by plenty of visitors from all over Ukraine and abroad.
The number of attendees demonstrated notable growth, since during the last months the city has experienced an influx of many highly qualified software engineers migrating from the Eastern regions of Ukraine in search for the politically stable and safe environment.
Lviv JS Conference, an international event with a front-end development focus, was mainly targeted at experienced web developers and featured presentations on scalability of architecture, JS performance, cross-platform mobile development and long-awaited features of JS new version.
As a partner of the conference, Intellias had a special opportunity to introduce the company to the numerous participants through presentations and Q&A sessions. Intellias Senior Java Developer Yuriy Lavryk, who attended the event, shares his experience:

A newcomer to Lviv region, the 4th international employment expo for IT talents career4it was aimed at matching talented staff with employers and provided for interviewing potential candidates right away in the IT lounge area, which was purposely constructed by the organizers. Furthermore, the expo was rich on presentations of IT courses and study programs from the distinguished business schools and universities.
International Java conference JDay 2014, sponsored by Intellias as a gold partner, was a one-day event marked by intense discussions and attended by well-known speakers. It embodied 3 streams and covered such compelling topics as Big Data, artificial intelligence and Cloud.
“Day 2014 was a must-see. Functional Leap of Faith, a presentation by Tomer Gabel, the organizer of the annual Scalapeno conference in Tel-Aviv, was undoubtedly praiseworthy. Tomer shared about his vision of the latest trends in application development and emphasized that nowadays development would make a shift to functional programming, immutable variables and distributed processing. In my opinion, it is a very probable scenario”,
