Infopulse to Sponsor Student Hackathon CactusHack 2017

Infopulse is a platinum sponsor of CactusHack, a technology-driven product hackathon for students from all Ukrainian universities. The hackathon will take place on May 13-14 in Kyiv.

CactusHack is a series of open events for students, offering them a chance to work on their first real software projects, solving everyday business challenges. Organized by former students of NTUU Kiev Polytechnic Institute, one of the oldest and largest technical universities in Europe, and supported by Infopulse and other IT companies, the event aims to unite student community through collaboration and networking with fellow programmers and business enthusiasts.

In 36 hours, 120 participants will form 35-60 teams of 2-4 people each. Teams then will have to come up with effective product ideas and build working product prototypes. The best hackathon teams will get valuable prizes and post-hackathon support.

This year, the hackathon has grown in size by attracting students from all universities of Ukraine. During the hackathon, young talents will have a perfect chance to work on fresh product ideas that may later become commercially viable products. Event participants will be able to exchange ideas and knowledge, get professional advice from experienced mentors and experts in the field and try out their skills in programming, design, analytics and entrepreneurship.

Before the hackathon, all those willing will be able to attend a number of free specialized meetups with IT experts and software developers to share their knowledge and expertise.

“Infopulse is always supporting young Ukrainian talents and actively contributes to the development of the local IT community. Seeing great potential in young specialists, we are happy to support CactusHack for the second year in a row now. We wish the best of luck to all hackathon participants!”
