HRH Crown Prince of Denmark Visits Ciklum Head Office in Kiev Ukraine

Kiev, Ukraine – 06 June 2011 – His Royal Highness Crown Prince of Denmark Frederik has visited Ciklum together with the Ambassador of Denmark in Ukraine, Mr. Michael Borg-Hansen, and a few representatives of the Danish Business delegation. The purpose of the visit was for the delegation to get acquainted with one of the most successful Danish businesses in the Ukraine.

The visit happened during HRH official visit to Ukraine for the Danish-Ukrainian Business Forum and a personal visit to Melitopol, where HRH was going to thank Ukrainian pilots for taking part in the Dutch-Ukrainian mission “North hawk-2011” (Severnui sokol-2011), which included transportation of fuel to Greenland. The purpose of the visit to Ciklum was for the delegation to get acquainted with one of the most successful Danish businesses in the Ukraine.

During the visit Torben Majgaard, Ciklum Founder and CEO, has explained the value that Ciklum brings to our clients, and took HRH Frederik around the office to visit the teams of some of the well know Danish companies that have chosen Ciklum as their strategic IT outsourcing partner. The client teams visited included Berlingske Media, IntraNote, JP/Politikens Hus, Releaze, and ScanJour.

The culmination of the visit was the tour to Ciklum SkyPoint, where HRH Frederik has received from Ciklum an iPhone 4 that included most of the Apps ever developed in Ciklum (by client teams and Ciklum Project Office) and the Royal App. The latter is the custom made App for HRH Frederik, the content of which is not disclosed. The App is a proprietary of the Danish Royal Family now and it is unknown at this moment whether it will be available on iTunes.
