HiTech Service announces partnership with the RIPE Atlas

We are proud to announce that we are partnering with the RIPE Atlas, which is part of the RIPE Network Coordination Centre.

RIPE Atlas is a global network of probes that measure Internet connectivity and reachability, providing an unprecedented understanding of the state of the Internet in real time.

RIPE Atlas is now truly global network, with about 8,000 measurement devices connected to the Internet in 164 countries.

RIPE Atlas probes are small, USB-powered devices that hosts attach to an Ethernet port on their router via a network (UTP) cable.

They conduct different measurements and relay this data to the RIPE NCC, where it is aggregated with data from the rest of the Atlas network.

The unique benefit of RIPE Atlas is the ability to send active measurement traffic from thousands of vantage points across the Internet and record the responses.

Another unique factor is that they have built a global cooperative platform on which any participant can run measurements, for which the data is openly accessible, and which does not bring a political or ideological viewpoint that may subtly influence the measurement system or analysis of the data.

We know of no other infrastructure with this number of vantage points operating around the clock. This functionality translates into a multitude of benefits for RIPE Atlas users, hosts, sponsors, ambassadors and RIPE NCC members.

Currently we are the only Ukrainian RIPE Atlas partner.
