ELEKS Leading Experts Spoke at Lviv Outsourcing Forum, a Top IT Business Event in Ukraine
Representatives of the global solutions development company shared their professional expertise, speaking at one of the most visited IT events in Ukraine, dedicated to outsourcing business practices.
April 7, 2015 – Lviv, Ukraine – ELEKS is delighted to share that the company’s leading professionals Victor Haydin, Head of Products & Services, and Ihor Kostiv, ELEKS Account Manager, participated as speakers at the Lviv Outsourcing Forum held on March 28th in Lviv, Ukraine.
In its seventh year, the event brought together over 250 participants from Ukraine and abroad, including IT business owners, startup founders, C-level executives and top management representatives with the goal of exchanging experiences and discuss the industry’s most pressing issues.
Outsourcing business practices, as a key theme of the conference, were covered within three streams: “Outsourcing Business”, “Small-Medium Outsourcing” and “Management in Outsourcing”, each providing a unique business focus. Conference speakers addressed the topics of strategic development and business expansion as well as top governance issues and operational practices.
Over the course of the event, Victor Haydin shared his insights into the role of R&D as a driver of expertise development with a focus on innovation, as well as being a powerful marketing tool. Victor’s presentation featured examples of the company’s several award-winning R&D projects, including ELEKS Google Glass Experiment and recently released applications for Tesla S control through Apple Watch and Android Wear.
Victor presented the concept of successful R&D that can give a substantial boost to the company’s business development and needs to be innovative and highly market-oriented at the same time.
A business development professional with more than 10 years of managerial experience, Ihor Kostiv covered the elaborate initiative of setting up an office abroad and the related market benefits for Ukrainian outsourcing companies. Ihor focused on the key factors to consider while planning the expansion of a company’s global presence as well as related challenges and opportunities.
