ELEKS Leading Mobility Expert Presented at the Exploring Apple Watch Meet-up in New York

Markiyan Matsekh, ELEKS Mobility & Wearables Product Manager, spoke at the Apple Watch dedicated meet-up hosted by the digital agency Huge in New York, showcasing the First Apple Watch App to Control the Tesla Model S.

ELEKS is pleased to share that one of the company’s most wearable-savvy experts, Markiyan Matsekh, participated as an invited speaker at the Exploring Apple Watch meetup in New York on February 25th.

The event, hosted by Huge, a full service digital agency headquartered in Brooklyn, was initiated to bring together the brightest iOS experts and Apple technology enthusiasts for live discussions, knowledge sharing and networking.

Markiyan was invited to hold a presentation dedicated to the innovative concept “Apple Watch. Tesla Car: How Far Can We Drive Them?”, developed and released recently by the ELEKS R&D team. The concept has immediately received a great deal of media attention, gaining impressive coverage and raising a lively discussion in the wearable tech-savvy circles.

In his presentation, Markiyan shared a story of the experiment with a Tesla back-end API for Apple Watch, providing insights into creation of the concept and covering the challenges and limitations the team had to meet while shaping a vision of what it might be like to control your car from your wrist.

The audience mainly consisted of iOS developers and technical experts, including representatives from Google, Apple, Meetup.com, Huge and others. Due to the topic in demand as well as the practical experience shared, Markiyan’s presentation was extremely well received by the event attendees, raising a number of interesting and valuable questions for discussion.
